Many schools test Chapter 3 (elements, compounds and mixtures), Chapter 4 (separation techniques) and some or all of Chapter 5 (the ray model of light). Yishun Secondary’s G2/G3 content outlines use that scope. Your school’s Term 2 outline is the one that counts.
Formats vary by school. This practice paper has 30 marks and takes 40 minutes, with multiple-choice and structured questions.
Not in every school. Some classes finish separation in Term 2 and start light in Term 3, when it can also appear in WA3. This paper includes a short ray-model section because that is a common WA2 scope.
